The method allows the amount of organic impurities in the product of Beckmann rearrangement of cyclohexanone oxime in the presence of oleum to be identified by means of gas chromatography. Unique characteristics: A sample of the product of Beckmann rearrangement of cyclohexanone oxime is dissolved in methyl alcohol. N-octyle alcohol is added to the solution. The obtained solution is neutralized with an alkaline agent. Then, a sample of the liquid organic layer separated from the precipitate undergoes the process of chromatography in the chromatographic column.
