1. The electrical control system is designed for a longwall coal shearer with two arms, each equipped with two engines, built into the arms in order to drive the shearing heads. The system is equipped with the shearer controller connected to a frequency converter. Unique characteristics: The frequency input of the shearer controller (SMP) receives analogue signals (a) of the currents of the shearer engines (1M), (2M), (3M), (4M), (5M), (6M), (7M) through the current-to-voltage transducers (1CP), (2CP), (3CP), (4CP), (5CP), (6CP), (7CP) and the voltage-to-frequency transducers (1Uf), (2Uf), (3Uf), (4Uf), (5Uf), (6Uf), (7Uf). It also receives analogue temperature signals from the sensors (1CT), (2CT), (nCT) through the voltage-to-frequency transducers (lTf), (2Tf), (nTf).
