The invention relates to an automatic device for optimisation of discharge of high flood from accumulation lakes, consisting of a telegauge [1] mounted on the dam, which measures the level [H] of the water in the lake converting it to an analog signal, a constant tension generator [2] which supplies the maximum level of retention for the water in the lake, an algebraic summing device [3] which calculates the difference of the two signals, supplying an exit signal proportional to the level [H] of the water in the lake, which enters in a functional transformer [4] achieved with neuronal network for approximation and learning, which supplies at its exit a signal representing the volume of the water [Vd [H]] which can be discharged into the lake, several telegauges [5] mounted on the tributary rivers, which supply at their exit signals for functional transformers [6] provided with neuronal networks, whose summed exits supply the total tributary river flow rate [Qafl] which constitutes the entry signal into a computational block [7] which calculates the initial moment [TI] from which starts the integration of the total flow rate [Qafl] of the tributary rivers in view of determining the final time [Tf] for the integration, applying a negative reaction, after the calculation of the volume difference [Δ] between the water volume [Vd [H]] which can be discharged to the lake, and the integral of the total flow rate [Qafl] of the tributary rivers , achieved by an integrating block [8], the volume difference [Δ] being obtained by an algebraic summing device [9] whose exit is connected to a computational block [10] which determines the final time [Tf] representing the upper limit of the integral, the exit from the integrating block [B] being the entry to the algebraic summing device.
