PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent scale from adhering by a method wherein a crystal, the same as or similar to the scale is added in water of a raw material adjusting process or a paper manufacturing process and the scale substance deposited in the process water is made into a paper as it is with pulp raw materials and the scale substance is removed to the outside of the system. ;SOLUTION: As a crystal, the same as or similar to a scale substance, though fine substance is generally pref., having the mean particle diameter of usually. 0.05-100 μm is pref, and the mean particle diameter is more pref. 5-50 μm. In addition, the amt. of incorporation of the crystal is not specially restricted but it is pref. that a ratio of 0.1-10,000 mg/l to the usually used amt. of water is incorporated, and incorporation by a ratio of 1-100 mg/l is more pref. Therefore, the scale substance in the processing water is deposited as precipitation by incorporating the crystal into water of a paper manufacturing process or a raw material adjusting process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
