The sealing for a piston-controlled spreader has a seal (8), of a rubber or plastics material, at the end of the dosing piston (5) towards the outlet opening (4) of the dosing chamber (3). The seal (8) is folding bellows, in a ring shape round the outer surface of the piston (5). The seal can be a one-piece component.
