This invention relates to a process for industriallyproducing a 11-substituted aryl-1,4-dihydro-oxonaphthyridinederivative and a salt thereofwherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a carboxyl-protectinggroup; R2a represents a 3-amino-1-pyrrolidinyl group in which theamino group may be protected, or a 1-piperazinyl group in whichthe imino group may be protected; and X represents a hydrogenatom or a fluorine atom, which are useful as an antibacterialagent, and also to intermediates therefor and processes forproducing the intermediates.
