The present invention relates to a process for incinerating burnable wastes,such as plastics, accompanied by treating thegases generated through incinerating burnable wastes, characterized in thatthe energy of an explosive is used to initiate thecombustion of the said burnable wastes, such as plastics embedded in the land,thereby simultaneously forming combustion chambersfor primary combustion, supplying fuels (1) and an oxidizing gas (2) into saidchambers whereby incineration is carried out whiledischarging gases (3) generated through incineration to above the surface ofthe land, subjecting the said gases generated throughincineration to oxidation in the presence of a catalyst (4), whereby the toxicgases such as CO, COCl 2, and dioxin containedtherein are converted into CO2 H2O, HCl, and SO x, which are then generallytreated.
