SUB-FLOOR DRAIN CONDUIT FOR BASEMENT WATER-CONTROL SYSTEMS

A sub-floor water control drainage conduit element andsystem which minimizes installation labor, materials andtime. The drainage conduit element comprises an elongateconduit section which is somewhat hemispherical orsomewhat-rectangular in cross-section and has a flat baseon floor wall, and a roof wall and/or sidewall. The floorwall is designed to be supported on the top surface of afooting at the wall-footing interface or in an excavationat the base of a wall. The conduit section is open toadmit groundwater, such as from the wall-footing interface,and the element contains an upper vertical wall portionwhich is designed to extend above the basement floorsurface and is spaced from the basement wall to provide awall drain gap down to the conduit section.
