A data transfer control device comprises aninstruction storage units and for storing a data transferinstruction, an instruction decoding unit for reading thedata transfer instruction from the instruction storageunits and to decode the content thereof, a shared memoryaccess unit for reading and writing the data throughaccess to a shared memory in the same cluster, a datatransfer unit for sending the data to a network amongclusters and receiving the data from the network amongclusters and a transfer control unit for controlling theshared memory access unit and the data transfer unitaccording to the data transfer instruction decoded by theinstruction decoding unit, as well as for storing the datatransfer instruction issued from another cluster into asecond instruction storage unit when the data transferunit receives the data transfer instruction from anothercluster through the network among clusters.
