Simple or accelerated gravity liquid transfer device of the type comprising a tubular plug (1) provided with an external thread (20) with the diameter and pitch of the thread of the threaded drain hole of the container in which it is intended to be screwed tightly and the bore (24) of which is normally closed by a valve (2) provided with an airtight seal (3) and with a return spring (4) in the closed position, the actuation in the open position of the valve being achieved by means of an adapter, removable connection means between the plug and the adapter being provided to allow the adapter to be fixed to the plug when the container is emptied and its rapid removal after emptying, the valve head (2) of the plug being located on the side of the end of the latter located inside the container and the seal (3) of the valve (2) being of the type plate axially connected to the valve, the axial connection means e ntre the plug valve and its annular seal include on the one hand on the valve (2) an annular groove (10) in which the seal whose thickness is equal to the width of the groove is adapted to be engaged thanks to the elastic deformation of its bore and, on the other hand, a semi-rigid tubular member (5) capable of being engaged and snapped onto a complementary extension of the end of the valve head (12) located at the inside of the container to ensure that the seal (3) remains in the closed position.
