The present invention is an expert system foroptimizing and maintaining a process, employing methods ofcapturing and implementing knowledge from experts andconsolidating same into a rule-based system capable ofapplication by operators without knowledge engineeringexpertise. Ideally, the system may be computer implemented,and may interface directly with a process control system.
