The invention relates to a method for setting up telecommunication links intelecommunication systems involving wireless telecommunication, especiallyDECT/GAP systems, whereby the respective aerial interface resources availablein said telecommunication systems are used in an optimum manner even beyondthe system-specific broadcasting range. In the telecommunication systems(TKS'), first mobile elements (RPP1) which can be connected to first fixedelements (RFP1), are able to function in a direct connection mode and orrepeater mode and are synchronous with the fixed elements, control and executeINTERNAL telecommunication links with the second mobile elements during aspecific time period, whereby said second mobile elements are synchronousand/or asynchronous with the fixed elements. The first mobile elements (RPP1)transmit broadcast information to the second mobile elements. They control andexecute INTERNAL communication links between the second mobile elements and/orcontrol and execute EXTERNAL communication links between the fixed elementsand the second mobile elements.
