The invention relates to a testing method for non-destructive testing of a welded connector (3, 17, 18) which is comprised of a number of litz wires (2) of electrical leads (1), said litz wires being connected to one another in a bundle by means of ultrasonic welding. In addition, a defined testing force is guided in directions, said directions essentially pointing towards one another or essentially pointing towards a common point of intersection, into two or more narrow lateral surface segments of the welded connector (3, 17, 18). The invention also relates to a testing device and a welding apparatus which comprises such a testing device.
