Date Jul. 20, 1995DNAs encoding receptors for the chemokine, Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-1 (MCP-1), are disclosed. Recombinant reagents and methods for expressing the DNAs are also provided. Exemplary receptor proteins are MCP-1RA and MCP-1RB, which correspond to alternatively spliced transcripts of the human MCP-1R gene. The receptor proteins of the invention are useful in assays to identify agonists and antagonists of MCP-1.
