The invention relates to a device for treating adiposity which comprises a body exercise device and a PC. An ergometer for determining the amount of work performed with the body exercise device, a scale, and a device for measuring the pulse rate are connected to said PC. Signals for determining the amount of work are transmitted from the ergometer to the PC. The exercise data is stored by the PC and can be compared during the entire exercise time period.
