A machine for a spinning hall has a magazine (1) for reel cores (4) which are pushed each on pegs (3) on a transport device and there is a core removal apparatus at a point (2) where they are intended to be individually removed from the magazine. At a peg outer end is a lip (13) placed so that the peg length between lip and transport device is greater than the core length and the lip outer diameter is less than the core inner diameter. There is a device for lifting the core at the removal point.
