Use of oligomers as plasticizers for a filmforming polymer in and for the preparation of cosmetical compositions containing this filmforming polymer, cosmetical or dermatological compositions

The use of at least one oligomer (I) is claimed as plasticiser for a film-forming polymer (II), in and for the preparation of a cosmetic or dermatological composition (A) containing (II), provided that (A) does not contain a film-forming polymer of the nitrocellulose type. (I) are selected from homo- or copolymers of ethylenically unsaturated monomers and polycondensates, and have an average molecular weight (measured at the peak apex by steric exclusion chromatography) of 400-10,000 (preferably 500-5,000) and a glass transition temperature of -80 to +10 (preferably -70 to +5) degrees C. Also claimed is the composition (A) containing (I) and (II), each dissolved or dispersed in a cosmetic or dermatological carrier.
