A spindle holdertype machine tool for high-speed machining, with a drive station (P1) using a logical design enabling movements (arrows X, Y and Z) of a spindle holder ram (100) along three axes X, Y and Z. The logical design of the drive station (P1) consists of a fixed stand comprising a supporting mounting (200) lying in a vertical plane (P(x, y)) of a pair of parallel transverse horizontal rails (210, 200) that enable a vertical plate (300) forming a supporting frame to slide (arrow X) horizontally and transversely along axis X. The sides of said vertical plate (300) include a second pair of parallel side vertical rails (310, 320) perpendicular to the first pair of transverse horizontal rails (210, 200) so that a head (400) is able to slide (arrow Y) vertically along axis Y. The above-mentioned spindle holder ram (100) passes horizontally and longitudinally (arrow Z) through said head along axis Z which is perpendicular to axes X and Y. Said machine tool is useful for high-speed machining.
