The demarkation device has a collision surface for bus tracking, and a top horizontal access platform. An aperture (9) with one vertical and one horizontal side (10,11) is positioned between the access platform (6) and the collision surface (8). The size of the aperture corresponds to the minimum horizontal and vertical safety distance, to the lower vehicle body and/or the axle projection after a bus (1) has collided with the collision surface. The demarkation device consists of compact moulded blocks (3). It has a mainly horizontal lower running surface (4) for at least one bus wheel (5). Due to the width of this surface, the wheel only comes into contact with the collision surface, when the load of the wheel acts on the running surface.
