In the method, a call to a person connected to a private terminal or telephone is conveyed together with a telephone number to the extension installation. This number is the personal telephone number of that person. At least while that person is on the telephone, an allocation of the personal number to the respective internal communication terminal (1) is stored. Independent claims also cover a telecommunication system.
