A concrete pen floor comprising transverse beams (7) that rest upon supports (3), and floor panels (9) whose edges (15) rest upon the transverse beams (7). Thanks to the use of transverse beams (7), the floor panels (9) can be made smaller and lighter than known floor panels.;The composite thickness of a transverse beam (7) end and a floor panel edge (15) is approximately equal to the thickness of a conventional pen floor. Therefore, a conventional pen floor can easily be replaced with the pen floor according to the invention, without any need for structural modifications.;The floor panels (9) are preferably fitted with anticorrosive reinforcement, for strengthening purposes.;In order to surpass the currently applicable environmental standards, the floor panels (9) contain slots (13), whereby the ratio of the surface of the slots in the floor panels to the surface of the solid sections of the floor panels is greater than 0.3.
