Pressure Cyclic Adsorption Method and System Using Simultaneous Vacuuming of Upper and Lower Adsorbent Beds

The present invention regenerates low-purity oxygen to be used as purge reflux gas from the upper layer of the adsorber vessel into the receiver tank, whereby the regeneration of the void gas improves the process efficiency. The present invention also performs a vacuuming step from the upper layer of the adsorber and a vacuuming of the main waste to remove the low purity void gas. Cocurrent upper pore gas regeneration and countercurrent waste vacuum from both ends of this adsorber result in a total increase of 3 to 5% product regeneration compared to conventional processes.
