A new short-range therapy device formed of a hollow tube-shaped seed substrate is described, which facilitates the association of the device with the sealant. This shape minimizes the chance of migrating the implanted seed because it attaches better to the tissue. The radioactive material distributed on the outer surface of the tubular device provides a relatively uniform radiation around the short-term therapy seed source on the hollow tubular. The described short-range therapy devices are inherently radioactive. Also, the described short-range therapy devices can be irradiated by the conversion effect of neutron irradiation. The described short-range therapy devices are easy to use for medical use and improve the safety of patients and practitioners.
