The present invention relates to a composition for skin whitening containing astronomical copper extract and at least one tyrosinase inhibitor as a skin or freckles improvement and skin lightening agent. In the present invention, by using a combination of astronomical copper extract and tyrosinase inhibitor in combination, a composition having more excellent whitening effect and product stability can be obtained.
