FIELD: growing of food and feed mushrooms. SUBSTANCE: method involves growing mycelium in monolithic vertical block by sequentially adding portions of fresh substrate; withdrawing ready product from below as mycelium matures. Substrate feeding device is made without bottom and has only side wall defining shell used as sliding framework. Such construction allows growing of mushrooms to be performed without auxiliary equipment. EFFECT: simplified method and construction, increased yield and improved quality of product. 8 cl, 2 dwg
