METHOD OF PURIFYING WATER BY TREATING IT IN SUPPLY PIPELINE WITH CATIONIC FLOCCULANT

FIELD: water treatment. SUBSTANCE: flocculant is completed with adding mineral coagulant into pipeline in weight proportion to flocculant from 40:1 to 1:1, coagulant being added, in water flow direction, before or simultaneously or after flocculant. Time of common contact of reagents with water in pipeline ranges from 0.2 to 16.7 hr. Simultaneous addition of reagents may be accomplished in the form of their preliminarily prepared mixture. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of aggregation of suspended materials resulting in two- to threefold reduced turbidity of water. 2 cl, 3 tbl
