FIELD: oil production; applicable in optimization of well operation to increase overhaul period of pumping equipment. SUBSTANCE: pumping unit operation in well is regulated by varying its pumping capacity with the help of variation of rotation speed of driving electric motor due to changing the frequency of power supplying mains. In this case, maintained within preset ranges are pressure at pump intake and at wellhead with maximum possible pumping capacity and temperature inside body of submersible electric motor. EFFECT: maintained in process of operation of maximum productivity of pumping unit at optimal conditions of operation of well-pumping unit system. 4 dwg
