SHOTS FOR SHOTGUN SHELL AND PROCESS OF ITS WORKING

摘要

FIELD: manufacture of shots for shells designed for shooting of plain-barrel guns. SUBSTANCE: proposed process of shot working includes electrolytic tinning of lead base. Its characteristic feature lies in tinning of shots to coat thickness of 0.5-12.0 μm and in their subsequent impregnation with hydrophobic liquid and mechanical consolidation. EFFECT: shots manufactured in agreement with proposed process displays combat characteristics of lead shots and meet all requirement of ecological safety. 2 cl
