A process for the in - situ - purification of contaminated soils

The method creates a mainly vertical fluid flow between mainly horizontal infiltration wells and delivery wells (1,2) located at a relative distance. There are several flows, formed by at least two fluids, one gaseous, one liquid, the flows being alternately intermittent. Fluid sucked up through delivery wells is brought to the surface for conditioning, and then returned through the infiltration wells, forming a circuit. The device to carry out the method has mainly horizontal filter tubes, positioned at least two different depths, and enclosing a contamination zone (3).
