The use of treated sewage sludge as a stabilizing additive for bitumen bonded building materials

Stabilising additive consists of communal clarified sludge in the form of flowable particles and fibres, which is post dewatered by adding lime and dried. Production of the sludge is also claimed and comprises adding the communal sludge containing organic components to a micro-grinder (5) and crushing to a particle diameter of 0.09 mm and fibre length of 1.8 mm and separating the solids out.
