Valve arrangement for cooling hot steam flowing through a pipeline

Hot steam flowing through a pipeline is called by an arrangement of a flow controller (10) for the hot steam and an axial twin nozzle (2) with coaxial steam nozzle (4) and water nozzle (5), the outlet cross section of which can be varied using an axially adjustable control piston (6). Preferably, hot steam flow is adjusted by a spindle (10) which can be coupled to the control piston. The spindle only contacts the piston just before it reaches the throttle end of its adjustment distance and then moves the piston into the throttled position.
