Sock washing clamp for keeping socks in pairs during washing

The sock washing clamp (10) holds a pair of socks or stockings during a washing process in a washing machine. It has two water-permeable clamp shells (12,14) which have shell openings facing each other and tilt into each other round a joint axis (16) which is vertical to the middle axes of the clamp shells (12,14). Each shells has a water-permeable clamp surface which covers the associated shell opening in part, and a chuck to press the shells (12,14) against each other. The shells are made of plastics and have openings for water to flow through.
