Target identification and classification method e.g. for aircraft or ship

The method involves using physical detectors to detect located targets in a vector space which is erected from independently set base identities. In the vector space, a target identification vector for the target is resolved into one main tendency identification vector and one opposing vector. The contribution of the main tendency identification vector is weighted and subsequently compared with a threshold value. The identification and classification of the target is performed based on the results of the comparison.
