The adapter has a plate-shaped section on which connecting rails are located, whose ends carry screw clamp pieces (20), each having a clamping plate (22). The clamping plate is linked to the plate carrier so that both form a U-shape with one another, between whose legs the relevant connecting rails (11) and the relevant busbar (12) can be clamped by two clamping screws. The plate carrier (21) is designed as an L-shape and the clamping plate is located on the second leg of the carrier. Uses two clamping devices or clamping screws to obtain an optimal connection of the connecting rails to the busbars.
