The auxiliary firing operating process involves passing the hot gases entering the exhaust heat boiler (2) through a channel (8) through apertures (15) in the combustion chamber wall (13) so as to avoid Kirchhoff vibrations between the channel and the combustion chamber cavity (9) of the auxiliary firing. The apertures in the combustion chamber wall bring about a permanent minimal flow of hot exhaust gases from the channel through the grille into the combustion chamber.
