Elevated single-track railway bridge superstructure

The bridge is constructed from steel girders embedded in concrete, of different heights, e.g. short edge girders (1) and high central girders (2). Direct introduction of wheel loads is via console-like connection of the edge girders to the central profile (4), in transverse direction. The edge profile (3) has additional reinforcements for support effect in longitudinal direction. Fitted transverse reinforcement of GEWI (RTM) steel simultaneously act as assembly securing system for the girders.
