Production of satellite-picture-based map images for motor vehicle traffic management using GPS and on-board card system

摘要

The GPS and the on-board card system are linked in such a way that digital geo-data can be retrieved via a telephone and/or mobile telephone connection from a central data server unit (ZDS). The geo-data are combined with the data from the GPS navigation system and fed to the individual on-board card system. An Independent claim is included for an apparatus for the production of map images.
