Shrinking device for e.g. temporary synthetic substitute vessel

The device consists of a tool (1) similar to a pair of pincers, with two movably joined handlebars and claw-shaped gripping parts (6,7) overlapping at their ends. A ribbon (2) equipped with heater elements is fixed to the ends of the claws forming a circle. Its diameter is adjusted in size by pressing or releasing the handle bars. The heated ribbon can be slid along the object in order to shrink its surface. An integrated sensor controls the temperature of the ribbon during the shrinking process.
