Wind speed measurement instrument for assessing profitability of wind generator site

The wind speed is picked up through a reed switch. The entire system, is supplied with current by a combined solar panel and accumulator. Data is stored over a long interval and transmitted through an interface after a measurement interval. The microprocessor, memory and interface driver chips all have low current consumption. Storage capacity can be upgraded. No voltage regulator is used.
