The active detector surface is formed from a multilayered block formed from alternating electrically conductive metal films with varying absolute thermal electromotive forces. The block is tilted before machined to form the detector, so that the normal to the layer surfaces is inclined to the detector surface. The connection line of electrical contacts is aligned with the normal to the layer surfaces.
