A circuit arrangement for electrical energy supply of a network (105) which has a fuel cell (1) plus an accumulator arrangement (8) has, during the start process, electrical energy delivered from the accumulator arrangement. The electrical energy is fed during the start process from the accumulator arrangement via at least one DC/DC converter into the network. During the operation of the fuel cell (operation at normal rating), the DC/DC converter is connected so that the accumulator arrangement is supplied with electrical energy from the network. The DC/DC converter automatically discriminates the operation at normal rating from start operation and changes over accordingly
