The remote control device has a case (1) containing a movable signal generator having pressure devices (2). A fixing plate (3) closes the top of the case and has holes for the pressure devices. A rockable cam (6) controls the displacement of the ends of the pressure devices. A handle (9,10) is connected to the cam and contains at least one electrical controller (11) to which a cable (12) is fed via an opening (13) in the fixing plate. The opening extends across from one edge of the plate, so that the cable can be pre-assembled.
