The computer numerical control (CNC) machine (2), for working toothed wheels, has six electronically coupled axes for simultaneous part working. The spiral bevel gear (24) is worked in continuous part actions using a screw tool (21) as a conical grinding or sharpening screw tool (21). The machine (2) can grind and/or sharpen a spiral bevel wheel after hardening, such as plate wheels or pinions, which have been produced at a conical palloid tooth system plain mill cutter.
