The concrete water drainage pipe is constructed from lengths of pipe joined end-to-end with a sealing ring fitted between the joint faces. Each length of pipe (1)has a guide ring (4) projecting from one end and firmly fixed to the concrete. This guide ring (4) guides the elastomeric selaing ring (6) and the next length (1') of concrete pipe into position as the two lengths (1,1') are placed end to end. The axial length of the sealing ring (6) is such that it extends to the portion of reduced dia. of the adjoining length of pipe (1').
