PURPOSE: To provide a leakage dielectric line which can be manufactured in a manufacturing process simpler than a conventional example, which can be operated in a further wide band, on which frequencies can be efficiently radiated, and plane antenna using the same. ;CONSTITUTION: In the dielectric line in which a dielectric strip 3 is provided in a housing constituted of plane-shaped parallel conductors 1 and 2, the housing is made asymmetric, and the leakage radiation of a high frequency transmitted through the dielectric strip 3 is operated. Also, the plane antenna is constituted of the leakage dielectric line and a means which is excited by the high frequency radiated from the leakage dielectric line, and which radiates the high frequency to a free space. Moreover, the plane antenna is constituted of the plural leakage dielectric lines and a means which is excited by the plural high frequencies radiated from those leakage dielectric lines, and radiates one or plural high frequencies to the free space.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
