Photoconductive grafted silane polymer with high carrier mobility and a photoconductive film formed from such a polymer. The grafted silane polymer corresponds to the formula: IMAGE in which: R1, which is identical or different, is chosen from lower alkyl radicals, R2 is especially a lower alkyl, phenyl or -A-Het radical, A being a single bond, a divalent chain with delocalised pi electrons, a 1,2- or 1,3- or 1,4-phenylene nucleus, Het being especially a carbazolyl radical, provided that at least 10 % of the number of the radicals R2 correspond to the -A-Het- radical. Application to electrostatic image reproduction, especially using an optical valve device.
