PURPOSE: To provide a new information recording medium. ;CONSTITUTION: This medium is constituted of a huge magnetoresistance material of a spin/valve type successively laminated with a first ferromagnetic layer 12, a non-magnetic layer 14, a second ferromagnetic layer 16 and an anti- ferromagnetic layer 18 on an MgO substrate 10 and having hysteresis of an electric resistance by application of magnetic field. By impressing the magnetic field to the medium, information is recorded as the size of the electric resistance of the information recording medium. Then, by detecting the valve of the electric resistance, the information recorded on the information recording medium is reproduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
