Vibration dampers hydraulic supports and their manufacturing processes

The anti-vibration sleeve consists of two tubular rigid structures (1,2), one fitted inside the other which are joined by a elastomer body (3) so that it forms two sealed pockets (4,5) joined by a narrow radial channel (6). These pockets and the channel are filled with a damping liquid. The elastomer body (3) is moulded to the two tubular structures (1,2) so that two blind holes (4,5) are formed plus an extension collar (11). This collar is folded outwards and is sealed in contact against a collar (13) formed on the outer structure (1) thus forming an enclosure made up of the two sealed pockets (4,5) joined by the restricted channel (6).
