The plate (1), used for the replacement of the tibia, consists of, on one hand, a blade (2), of which one of the extremities, terminates in a sharp edge (5), of the type, that can be driven into the tuberous part of the tibia, in a direction marked as D, which is roughly perpendicular to the axis (6) of the tibia. The other extremity of the blade is formed as a head (&), which extends perpendicularly to the Median Plane (M) of the blade. The head is formed to allow for the passage of screws, generally two, which, when the blade is in place, are inclined to the longitudinal axis of the blade and are screwed into the shaft of the tibia. The head of the blade is inclined to the longitudinal axis (11) of the blade at a predetermined angle, of around 20 degrees.
