ENERGY RECOVERY PLANT FOR URBAN WASTE AND THE LIKE

Installation for fixing the energy value of urbanwaste and similar comprising a crushing mill (1) from which the refuse is evacuated and a circulating fluidized bed reactor (2) which receives the crushed waste from a feed pipe and which contains a dense lateral fluidized bed on the wall of the reactor containing the feed pipe and an outlet pipe for non-fluidizable heavy elements at the bottom of the fluidized bed and bringing there a sorting device for the large particles (3) cooling these and extracting non fluidizable inert materials. The other materials are reintroduced into the reactor. The installation also contains means of recovering energy and treating fumes from the reactor. At least part of the waste is introduced into the large particle sorter.
